I'm thinking that I should really make this more useful than it is, so here I go...

Back in college at WWU, I had bunch of really good friends that I used to hang out with all the time. Most of them were in the computer club: WCUG. Things have changed since then (people move away, lose touch), but I found a great collection of pictures from back then called "Impromptu Gatherings".

In Winter of 2000, Jamie & I visited his parents in Yakima. Also, I gotta include a great picture of Escher on the stairs in Portland.

In March of 2000 I left the security and happiness of Reed College and Portland, OR to set off for the wilds of the Bay Area of California. I was lucky enough to get a job at Pixar Animation Studios, where, as you may know, Chris Walker is working as well.

In May of 2001, Jason and I attended the "Black & White Ball" offered by the San Francisco Symphony. We had a pretty good time, but it really wasn't that special. More like a crazy party with people in fancy clothes. Since there were 10,000 or so people there you definitely don't feel special and sorta get crushed. However, this was the first outing with the new digital camera.

On July 29th, 20001, a few of us went out to Karoake at Mints Lounge in San Francisco. I danced backup for a couple of people and I arranged with the bartender to stay afterward so that I could try singing. They let me stay afterward if I helped clean up. I did and got to try to sing with no-one there but I don't think I did very well.

On October 20th, 2001 I went to my first wrap party at Pixar to celebrate finishing Monsters Inc. Great fun!! Though the corset was a bit restricting.

In December of 2001 I moved into a great house in Oakland!

In January of 2002 I started bellydancing with one of the best instructors around: Rachel Brice ! She's awesome and I've learned a lot and really enjoyed myself.

On September 7th 2002, alumni of Kelso High School's Class of '92 (including me) attended their ten year reunion at Red Lion Inn in Kelso, Washington. Much fun was had by all (I think) and I was lucky enough to get some digital pictures. Thank-you to the lovely Maria Worth for organizing this event.

On March 16th, 2003, a group of belly dancers from work performed at a friend's house to help her raise money for a charity marathon she's running. She called it "Dancin For Dollars" and I have pictures of the dancers and normal people.

On May 5th, 2003, we went to the Finding Nemo wrap party!! It was quite exciting, doubly so because Karen, Yaz and I were going to belly dance at the wrap party. Getting everything organized was a nightmare (fancy dress, belly dance costume, etc) but it all worked out well in the end. I didn't take any pictures at this wrap party, but I did grab a couple of pictures other people took of me in the dress. Also, Chris got one of me ready to belly dance.

In August of 2003, Gabe, Adi, Jason & I went to Las Vegas. It was my first time. I'm not sure how I feel about it... seems like an awful waste of resources.
